Terms and Conditions for Pole Dance Workshops Leiden
1. **Applicability**
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements and activities of Pole Dance Workshops Leiden.
1.2 By reserving a workshop, the customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions of Body Pole Mind.
2. **Personal Data**
2.1 Online registration forms must be completed truthfully and in full.
2.2 Pole Dance Workshops Leiden collects customer personal data for maintaining the membership database and treats it strictly confidentially.
3. **Workshop Payment**
3.1 Payment for workshops must be settled before the workshop commences.
4. **Workshop Cancellation**
4.1 Workshop cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days before the start. Within 7 days, 50% of the costs are charged to cover incurred expenses by Pole Dance Workshops Leiden.
5. **Unforeseen Circumstances**
5.1 In case a teacher is ill or unavailable due to personal circumstances, and timely replacement cannot be arranged, the management reserves the right to cancel the workshop. These classes may be rescheduled or canceled entirely.
6. **Participant Behavior**
6.1 Members shall not misuse the facilities of Pole Dance Workshops Leiden. Any damages intentionally or due to identifiable fault caused to the property of Pole Dance Workshops Leiden will be fully reimbursed by the respective members.
6.2 Inappropriate, boundary-crossing, rude, or aggressive behavior may result in immediate termination of the workshop. Violations of these behavioral rules are considered a serious breach of the regulations, and access to the studio may be denied.
6.3 Participants are not allowed to attend classes under the influence of drugs or other mind-altering substances.
6.4 Smoking is prohibited within the studio.
7. **Liability**
7.1 Participants use the lessons and materials of Pole Dance Workshops Leiden at their own responsibility and risk. Pole Dance Workshops Leiden disclaims any responsibility for personal injury or death of a member during the classes, with or without the use of the facilities.
Participants are advised to undergo a medical examination beforehand. Pregnant women and those suffering from diabetes or high blood pressure should consult with their doctor before taking any classes.
Each participant indemnifies Pole Dance Workshops Leiden from any liability towards third parties for damages suffered by such third party during their presence in Pole Dance Workshops Leiden as a result of the actions or omissions of the member.
8. **Other Matters**
8.1 Participants give the management permission to use photographic and other types of recordings of groups for editorial or promotional purposes. If you do not wish to give permission for this, you can indicate this verbally or in writing before the start of the workshop.
8.2 The management reserves the right to adjust the opening hours for cleaning, setup, repairs, special occasions, holidays, or other motivating reasons but will attempt to inform participants in advance.
8.3 The management is entitled, if necessary for management reasons, to amend and supplement these terms and regulations. Participants are expected to be aware of and agree to the general terms and house rules.
**House Rules:**
1. Admission is only for individuals who speak at least Dutch or English (for safety reasons).
2. Be on time. Workshop participants must be present at least 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
3. Leave the materials tidy; clean them with spray and a cloth after use.
4. No food, including gum, is allowed in the sports areas.
5. Drinking is only allowed from a sealable bottle or flask.
6. Respect each other and your surroundings! Any form of boundary-crossing behavior is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate expulsion from the dance school.
7. In case of misconduct, the workshop will be terminated immediately, and the entire group must leave.
8. Prior to the lessons, it is mandatory to wash your hands.
9. For safety reasons, during pole dance exercises where you go upside down, it is mandatory to use a crash mat the first time you do this. If in doubt, ask the instructor.
10. During the workshop, for safety reasons, you must adhere to the exercises the teacher indicates and may not do anything else (unless discussed with the teacher).
11. You are responsible for your own safety. If an exercise does not feel right for any reason, notify and request an alternative exercise.
12. If the instructor's instruction is unclear, ask for clarification to prevent accidents.
13. Use grip and a crash mat when pole dancing if necessary.14. Do not use hand cream, body lotion, or other products on your skin on the day you come pole dancing (grip products are, of course, allowed).
